Speed Clerking - My Summer Clerkship

Are you a penultimate student considering a clerkship this year? This is the session for you! The Sydney Law Careers Fair will be holding round table discussions between 12.15pm and 1.15pm, with each discussion running for 10 to 15 minutes.

This is your chance to join recent summer clerks and graduates from a variety of different firms to discuss how they enjoyed their clerkship experience and learn the tips and tools you need to help you land the perfect position!

Clerks will be on hand to discuss the following topics:

· What are firms looking for? / Why I applied for a clerkship?

· Drafting Applications - Tips & Techniques

· Interview Process - Myth Busting

· My Clerkship Experience

· Life After a Clerkship

Listen, learn or ask questions - the choice is yours.

The session will run in 'round robin' style enabling students to participate in each of the subjects. Approximately 10 - 12 students will be able participate in each discussion so places are limited.

Students will need to sign up on the day to participate.
