The 2010 Sydney Law Careers Fair will be a major event, showcasing major Australian and international law firms, non-legal firms offering alternative careers for law students, as well as other non-profit organisations. Following the success of the previous NSW combined Law Careers Fairs, the 2010 Sydney Law Careers Fair will be held on Friday 26 March 2010 at the Sydney Convention Centre, Darling Harbour.

Who is organising the fair?

A committee of graduate recruitment staff from a number of major law firms have been the driving force behind the establishment of the fair. After gauging the interest of other law firms and non-legal employers, the committee engaged the services of one of Sydney's leading event co-ordinators, ID Meetings & Events.

The committee has also communicated closely with ALSA and the various university Law Students' Societies to find out what students want to know. The LSS's will also play a key role in the on-campus promotion of the fair.
